FOULKES / APPROACH

Clear scope.
Useful progress.
A person you can talk to.

I’m Tom Foulkes. I work directly with you to understand the problem, build a focused solution, and make informed decisions about what comes next.

Start small enough to learn.

A useful project begins with a clear problem. I work with you to understand the process, identify the people it affects, and decide what is worth changing first.

Build a focused version, connect the systems it needs, and review working software as it takes shape. The aim is to learn from real tasks while keeping the scope understandable.

Putting a tool into use is where the learning becomes practical. Review what works, understand where people get stuck, and decide which improvements are worth making next.

What you can expect from me.

Straight answers about fit

I’ll explain where I can help and identify work that needs a different skill set or specialist input. A useful recommendation can be simpler than the original idea.

Decisions made together

Scope, dependencies, costs, and responsibilities should be discussed before they become surprises. New requests are reviewed for their effect on the agreed work.

Software with an owner

We plan for the people who use and maintain the solution. Access, documentation, third-party services, and ongoing support are part of that conversation.

Bring the problem.
We’ll work through the options.
