Support & Improve
Make the next version
better informed.
Putting a tool into use is where the learning becomes practical. Review what works, understand where people get stuck, and decide which improvements are worth making next.
Clear ownership matters
Support scope, response expectations, ongoing costs, and responsibility for third-party services should be agreed rather than assumed.
What this looks like in practice.
Review real use
Look at feedback, recurring questions, and available operational information. Identify whether the friction comes from the interface, the process, or the underlying data.
Keep dependencies visible
Software, APIs, and AI services change. Document the connections and agree who handles updates, credentials, service changes, and operational issues.
Improve with purpose
Prioritize changes that address a clear need. Test an improvement before expanding the workflow, adding more users, or giving an assistant more responsibility.
Support that matches the project.
Ongoing work can be arranged around the needs of the application and your team. That may mean a defined maintenance engagement or separately scoped improvements. Availability, monitoring, response times, and service coverage are established in the agreement; they are not implied by a launch.
Points to agree together
- A clear owner for hosting and each connected service
- Documentation for routine operation and known limitations
- A way to report issues and prioritize requests
- A review process for releases and ongoing costs
A few useful answers.
Is ongoing support included automatically?
No. We agree on what is included in the project handover and what requires a separate support or maintenance arrangement.
Can someone else maintain the solution?
That can be planned for. Documentation, access, third-party licensing, and the chosen technology affect the handover, so we discuss them during scoping.
